Bahamas Class
We are a resource class aiming to support the children to learn through play. We have a range of 2 weekly topics to focus on throughout the year but may change these according to the children’s interests to support the best focus and exploration. We base our learning off of the Cherry Garden’s assessments, EHCP targets and Little Wandle Phonics. We cater all of the learning to the children’s individual needs and love to explore sensory play as much as possible. Singing songs and exploring stories are important throughout the day and we love to support the children’s communication use by teaching and modelling communication boards, core vocabulary sessions and makaton.
